Tomato Love and the Wet Seed Process


Tomato Love- tasting and saving our favorites
September’s West County Community Seed Exchange is Saturday September 28th

Bring your favorite tomatoes for a tomato tasting and evaluation from 11 to 12.  Bring a couple of tomatoes, well labeled with a description.  If you have an open pollinated favorite that you have a few plants of bring 4-10 tomatoes and we can save seed from them. We will discuss wet seed processing and save seed from everyone's favorite tomatoes. 

9 to 10:30 am-   Work Party in the Seed Garden- come help us tend our seed garden, bring gloves and tools.

9 to 11am - our seed library is open for checking out seed, come check out our amazing collection of locally grown open pollinated seed.

11am-noon- Tomato Love- a class and tasting on tomatoes and wet seed processing
